BS-detector

Have you developed a highly sensitive and intelligent
BullS***-detector? If you haven't you may be at the mercy of various con-men (and women) who may appear on
the surface to be honest and even saintly people. This would be funny if these BS-artists weren't causing
massive harm, but a lot of them are doing just that.
You may also be giving up your own natural power by following loquacious
leaders, pontificating prophets, garrulous gurus, and exactsperating experts.
Here's my top BS list:
- people who offer me ways of earning massive amounts of moula (usually on the Internet) for the princely sum of $17.50 and limit the offer to the first 200 people because they don't want to spoil the party for the 200 privileged ones
- people who promise to solve the problem of my mortality for a sum of money, e.g. join the anointed ones and learn to visit far flung parts of the universe without my pesky nuisance of a body, but only after I have become a spiritual master of the universe which will cost me an extra $25,000
- people who claim that their book is a sacred one - or at least some of it - and I am an enlightened being for having the good luck to be reading it
- people who claim to know the
unknowable such as what happens after death, or how life began or what consciousness or self-consciousness
is
- people who claim to be able to foretell the future
- people who are eager to protect their legacy and be inducted into a hall of
flame
- people who claim to be immortal
- people who claim to be Masters of anything
