Harmony In Motion
March 8th, 2011 by Gary Hipworth

Too slow to catch it in mid-air
The coin fell from my pocket
And went like a rocket
To god knows where
Is this my destiny
To be out of sync
With the rhythm of life
Caught up in my self
And always in strife?
I refuse to accept
The battle within
There must be a way
To win this war
Just give me more time
To figure this out
I know I can do it
And then I will shout
From the rooftops...
Look at me folks
No longer in pain
Harmony in motion
Is now my game
Like the falling rain
Like the bird in flight
I must keep trying
To win this fight
What did you say?
There is no way?
I don't understand
There must be a way
Or I am harmony right now
Without any doing
Am I so attached to the past and the future
That I'm lost to the the present tense?
Surely I'm not that dense?
Who do you think you’re fooling?
Mental gears churning and turning
When Rome is burning
Staying awake is a must
Ideas to ashes
Who can I trust?
Then silence
Oh my god!
