Visions Change The
Rules

Visioning is very different from problem solving!
When we solve problems we want the problem to go away - it is fear-driven and usually involves only small improvements.
Creating a vision allows the mind to break free
of its assumptions about how things are done. You actually start with a blank sheet of paper and envisage
what an exciting future might look like! It is the most important and first part of the creative process
because when you bring in to existence that which you love, you do it for its own sake, not for what
you can get.
It is a vision for your business or organisation so that the time you invest in it
produces precisely what you want!
What do you want your business or organisation to deliver for your clients?
- What or why is the client buying and what you are selling?
- What business are you in, location, how many employees?
- What kind of culture/ your working hours?
Unless you have a very clear focus, you will almost definitely get something else. Visioning enables breakthrough improvements or at its best you get to change the rules of the game and that’s what true leaders do.
